The church is a people created by God in Christ; empowered by the Holy Spirit; and called and sent to bear witness to God's creative, redeeming, and sanctifying activity in the world.

Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church is an extension of God's Kingdom in our community empowered by the Holy Spirit to witness and serve. We believe that Christ is the focus of our lives, and through his teachings we provide the opportunity for growth and personal wholeness.

We are a caring church family which nurtures and supports its membership, the local community, and the world. We welcome and encourage all persons to become a part of our worship and fellowship.
